This past weekend, a rock racer named Tom Guaraldo died in an accident in a friend's yard testing out his new transmission. Wasn't really doing anything more than just turning around, blipped the throttle, car rolled & his head hit the cage. He was killed instantly. He likely wouldn't have had a scratch if he'd been belted in. I didn't know Tom personally, but we had spoken a few times quite extensively about some marketing ideas he had for MRA. He seemed like a really bright guy, lots of great ideas, and a ton of enthusiasm. And it's a shame he had to die so young (I believe he was still in his 20's). This is Tom's website:

And here's some more information on his accident if anyone is interested.

So bottom line, buckle up folks!

Scott

I go as far as getting fully fire suited up as well when I test my car at my buddys house. You never know what can happen. Testing can be just as dangerous because you are still pushing limits even though your not racing.
