I noticed in your post that you list having class III and prostock. Under MRA rules these are the same class. Did you mean outlaw pro stock? ....Richard

It looks like a first class event but i dont think a truck class should pay more than a rail class, i meen racing is a state of progression like class 3,4,5,6 and so on , so i dont see why outlaw prostock should be paying more than modified ,[ just my opinion] if that was the case i should have kept the s-10 truck.

Jig,

Eric couldn't take it, so here goes. Welcome to the world of the MRA where truck classes are for everyone and rail classes are for a chosen few.I guess we should consider ourselves lucky they haven't kicked us in the nuts with the 100% payback to race with our own money yet.You will soon realize since you are not a class 3 guy that you will no longer be catered to. your opinion no longer matters. No one will make a class for you and it is proven the ones that travel are the class 4, 5 and 6, but we get the fewest classes to race. You may as well stay in WV , race the NMRO or come race some of Jackie's stuff.

There is a good argument that the payouts need to be progressive. Thats how it always has been and needs to stay to keep all classes working.

On one hand, everyone wants "big" payouts. On the other does the car count justify what we feel is right?

The only solution I see at this time, is to get together and set payout and class requirements for an mra event... that really has not been finalized due to time and getting this year off and running.

Remember, dont bite the hand thats feeding you guys. These are great promoters with our future in their hands. We need to all agree on this and work things out.

At this time all I can do is thank all the promoters that are moving forward getting the mra started, and even if some things are a little rocky right now working together in a "freindly" manner is the only way anything will ever work out in my opinion.

Thanks, Chuck.

i agree , it is something that needs addressed as soon as possible , we dont want to affend noone but just work with the progression state of racing in mind.

Iwill write a short reply to both comments..We are new to this type of racing..We are both working for you the drivers...We were given these payouts by an individual very well respected in your sport. These payouts are higher than your NMRO nationals. We are all out for you the driver's but the one thing we do not do is waiver on any rules or promise.

As you can see we are hosting a World Final for Class VI this year. Next year it will be a different class. If other track owners/promoters would step up the sport would really take leaps and bounds.

Is this not where you all want to be? I just do not understand the argument.

i think what you all are doing for the sport is wonderfull and i wish others would try and do what you all are trying to do. my statement was towards the progression of classes like for say street, modified, outlaw, pro an open just as examples those are stepping stones from a begginer to a pro and with that being said i just think the payouts should progress as the classes do. i noticed your outlaw prostock was paying more than your nmro class 4 or mra modified, that shouldnt be so [ in my opinion] because of the state of progression in the classes,if i affended you im sorry i had no inttentions of doing that, just trying to get that idea brought out in the open. THANKS JIG.

Thanks Deborah.... it`s promoters like you that are making this sport great!! I`m for one looking forward to your events!

There are some guys who really mean well and are great people to talk to that seem sort of "harsh" on here, but they are just passionate about their sport.

Keep up the good work, and guys.... lets support them!
