IF A MAN HAD A BIG CUBIC INCH SMALL BLOCK WITH ONE STAGE OF NITROUS IN A PROMOD TO GO THREW THE FINISH LINE AT 9300 RPM ,WOULD IT BE BEST TO RUN 1 GEAR OR 2 GEAR IN A GLIDE. MY GUESS IS 2 GEARS AND IF SO WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD FINAL RATIO.

2 gears for sure, dunno on final ratio without knowing ideal track length, how much power, and how this car leaves.

I ran a 7.33 gear for a while, worked great as far as rpm, but didnt last but about 10 passes, the pinion is too small.

Yes, with that gear I launched @ 4800, shifted @8000 and crossed about 9200 on a 200 ft track.
