I am looking for Tracks / track owners.
I would like to compile a list of mud racing tracks. Permanent tracks.
I would like to see if I can get at least one track in each state. (2 or more - even better).
I would like to know if they are - fast, (flat or above ground) tracks, Bog tracks or other forms of mud tracks? (both - even better).
Contact numbers? Web. sites?

Are there many out there? Do you know where they are?

Barnyard All Terrain, Livermore Maine
Permanent fast track 300' x 80' side by side racing
We run 6" to 10" deep depending on mother nature. Loam track with good hook. Always run 200' for mud drags-300' for sand drags. Porta tree timing system, 500' shutdown area
Permanent bog track 200' x 80' side by side deep mud. One lane 6" to 3' other lane 6" to 5' deep
Both tracks with oversize wooden posts every 6' and steel guardrails.
Also have 2000' tuff truck course thats gaining in popularity with the locals.
We race 7-8 events every year with usual truck count of 60-80 rigs from stock to blowers. Camping available but no hook-ups as of yet. See our website at www.barnyardallterrain.com. Hope to see and meet some new folks this year.

That's a start - thanks.
I know of one in NY - Manchester, NY. run by the Goodtimes 4x4 club, been there for over 20 yrs. 250' side by side drags, uphill racing (tough trucks)and of course a mud pit (100') that not to many make it out of.

I know there are more out there - help me out. This may benefit everyone in the future.

Hey Guys,
This a new place in Indiana that's just getting started. We did some test and tune with our truck a few weeks back. They have only run a few times this year but Don Borders wants to put on a full schedule next year.
They have bog pits and flat drags. The weekend we went it was a
200 Ft. track and plenty of shutdown room. He seems to be open to setting up to run about any type classes if the interest is there.
Brett

GREEN COUNTY MOTORSPORTS CLUB - LINTON, INDIANA

Event is located 1 1/2 miles North of the Ellis Water Tower, West of 59 on 545 in Green County. We are having 5 classes - stock 35" & under tires, tires 40" & under, tires 44" & under modified, Pro Stock Class, Open Class.
There is a membership fee of $10. All racers must be a member.
Jeremy at 812-241-7753 OR Don Borders at 812-239-0262

I went to Gumboro Mud Bog in Delaware last week for the first time. All bogs, 3 pits for various classes and I thought it was very well organized. Great family atmosphere. Info is at www.gumboromudbog.com.

We are building a side by side fast track at New England Dragway in Epping, NH.

Plans are for 180 ft, 6" deep, 600+ ft of shutdown.

Track will be permanent with a timing system, tower, pa system and as of late I hear of possibly permanent lighting for night racing.

A deep pit has been mentioned but the fast track is our first priority.

We are starting actual track construction this Sunday.
