Sorry you feel that way.
Since we do not know each other it your statement concerns me.

At least list what about me stops you from supporting a first class group of mudracers in MRA?

Anybody who actually knows Mitch Mitchell knows that he is a gentleman who is unselfish in his desire to help the sport of mud racing.

Not supporting the MRA because of Mitch Mitchell's involvement is ridiculous and really kinda shows how ignorant some people are to what the MRA stands for and the desire and commitment of the people involved.

I only hope that Mitch does not get discouraged by this kind of B.S. The sport of mud racing needs Mitch and people like him.

This is not my opinion, this is fact...

Everyone has different personalities, ideas, opinons and different ways of getting things done. Not that anybody's is right or wrong, but that we have the same goals and willing to work together to reach them.

Voicing your opinion, "bending", "stretching", "tweaking" the rules is what we all do.
If your not voicing your opinion you're gonna get left out.
If your not stretchig the rules your getting outrun because somebody else is.
if MRA is not "tweaking" rules, to make mud racing more interesting & more organized, MUD RACING will not grow. MRA is not about being the "biggest mud racing group". it's about mud racing rules being more consistent across the country no matter who is or is not a member, or if your track never runs a "MRA sanctioned" event.

As a MRA Representative - I am asking you all, As well as any others that post on this forum to Please refrain from any personal comments about other racers or anyone else for that matter. This is not the place for it and it is not the image we care to project to the public.

I felt this needed to be said once again in an effort to discourage this sort of thing in the future. While not everyone likes everyone else and we encourage everyone to voice their opinion - Personal comments only lead to people taking sides - more hard feelings and more racers abandoning an Organization that is trying to make a better place to race for everyone across the Country.

If you or anyone has an issue with the MRA. I hope that you do address any problems that may have happened on the board. (we cannot fix it if we do not know it is broken). BUT - I do ask everyone to please address the issues and not the person.

Thank you for you help, your understanding and your cooperation on this subject.

I think this is the best said opinion that I have heard yet. This does put into perspective many of the likes and dislikes all of us have.

And I agree with Terry that we need to keep this forum professional.
I personnally have been dealing with reps from Lincoln Welding that have shown an interest in our sport. They are already sponsoring racers, Maybe they will start sponsoring races, but I can't tell them to join the ranks if we are not professional about it. Kind of like shooting yourself in the foot, if you know what I mean.

Also remember one thing, All the reps that are on this board were voted in BY YOU!!! You meaning anybody that put in a vote at the beginning of the MRA. If you didn't vote for a rep at that time, I'm sorry to here that, maybe that is why one rep is in and another is not, but the bottom line is that we ( mud racers) have voted in a few guys that were willing to take on the responsibility to bring our sport into better light. If anyone has better ideas bring them forward, we need the opinions to grow. But attacking a certain person for what they stand for is not the way things change or made better. If you think you can do better than the reps are doing now, speak up and say whats on your mind but keep it professional and productive. Everyone of us is a rep in one way, shape or form. The way we present ourselves to the crowd is how we will be revered by all.

Thanks fed and I was going to mention that all reps were elected by popular vote too. Sorry for the typos, but you understand what I was trying to say. lol. The bad side of an open forum is that it's hard to stay focused on a subject. The next thing you know where bashing or defending someone / something that has nothing to do with the topic. There are a few that want put a real name / nickname or true identity in their post because they know their comments are wrong, trouble making or just plain immature. Personalities are different, some people were born to throw rocks, and some were born to fix windows!! Simlpy put, I'd rather fix them than break them!!
I hope a few broken windows and terrible economy doesn't get the best of us.
One of my favorite sayings is, Lead, Follow or get the hell out of the way!!!
This applies to life not just racing and there's nothing wrong with getting out of the way sometimes!!! that's not intended to anybody, but intended for everybody if you know what i mean.
Also thanks Terry for keeping the site as professional as possible.
