ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS PUT A SCREW IN THE SECONDARY LINKAGE AND IT ACTS LIKE A DOUBLE PUMPER! IT MAKES THE CARB LIKR 1 TO 1

If you do decide to go this route, and the carb has a dead spot, you may want to upgrade from the 30cc pump to a 50cc pump to compensate for the lack of a second accelerator pump (where the term "double pumper" comes from).

I'm running a JW in mine. Paid $800 for it 6 years ago but haven't had any trouble with it.... still stalls the same as when purchased. We weren't getting 6 months to a full season out of our B&M's or TCI's, but some people have better luck than others on things. If I ever get a pile of cash given to me, I'll go Coan next time. Buddy of mine went from a JW to a Coan and knocked 2 tenths of his time in 300' in a sand car.

Yes I like my PTC convertor. have had it for about 4 years now, freshened once and the service and quality is excellent. I've put some power to it and it loves every bit of it. Cool

We're running Moser's, Spicer joints with the needles replaced with bronze bushings, with a spool, and 38'5 cut boggers.... haven't had it apart in 4 years Wink

Talking about converters, www.westcoastconverter.com will make you a custom converter that they guarantee will hold up to 2,000 hp...
They run a converter in a blown T/A Funny Car!
They will ask you about 100 questions about the vehicle and build exactly what you need... And if you need the stall changed, just ship it back and they will do it... Great people to deal with...

They are not cheap though... The converter I ran in my last blower car was right around 1,400.00.. but that was thier big dog...
The rest average right around 500.00 i think....

Ok i raced this weekend and it was ok. I have added deflectors behind the front tires to keep my sight, added manual valve body, added Cut 39.5 boggers to the rear, and added a 750 double pumper to my equation.. I did ok i think this weekend i started out in second gear (manual Valve Body) and it seemed to pull till i got to 3 1/2 feet of water that splashed all over and made eng. cut out! I did have a full pull and time was 8.62 on 200 foot pit (if that means anything to anyone)! I still seem to be undecided if i should be starting out in second gear or first or if i just need to try and see what happens either way???? I did hear a lot of people saying that i was a tiny small block and kind of Laughing under their breath but oh well?? Anyhow what are all you guys running HP wise in these things?? Does anyone have any pics of what they have done to keep all that D?!n water out of the carb area?? any help would be appreciated as i can always count on you guys! Oh yeah a special thanks to Scott From Racinginthedirt.com who cut my tires and busted a move to get them to me on time..... I had a lot of compliments on them tires this weekend THANKS SCOTT FOR AN AWESOME JOB!!
